Hello future clients!. My name is Diamond Kennedy. I am 28 yrs old and licensed cosmetologist. I've also been licensed for 9 yrs, and studied at Hair Academy in New Carrolton, Md.

Hair is my life I start at the age of 10 braiding family members such as my sister (Jewels) and and mother (Dawn). Eventually my mother seen my potential. Which lead her to teaching me how to sew a old school bee hive weave. I then mastered the craft. And soon after became the neighbor hood hair braider and weave tech.

There isn't anything that I can't accomplish in the hair industry. My specialties are of course Weaving, Short hair styling, Cutting, Styling, Coloring, and Natural hair. I alos do weddings parties and major functions.

I've worked with the most Fantastic hair stylist in the DMV area such as Dervelle Harris, Gerald Armstrong, Kim Falwell, Joii, Seven, T.D. etc. And along the way I have learned more the a lot of what needs to be known in the Salon world. Professionalism, work ethics, Clients interest, and hair care is the most important.

My business is to make sure that my clients are comfortable and satisfied at the end of the day. Nothing means more to me than that. All of my clients have become like family to me and one another as well.

I've also become some what of a celebrity stylist during my yaers of hair styling. Clients such as Lavar Arington, Ziggy Marley, Deborah Roberts, and Maureen Umeh, etc.During this time I've bulit relationships with some of these peolpe. And enjoyed every experience of styling and caring for their hair.
